Amgen Biotech Experience: online!

This year, the ABE@UTM team is excited to hold our second, fully virtual training session on implementing the ABE labs using LabXChange - an EdX-based platform that teachers can use to share images, simulations, assessments, videos, and other media types.  The platform already houses quite a lot of information, including an ABE-specific cluster, and the content team is continuously producing more to keep up with current events. While the focus is mainly on the ABE labs, the session will also provide some framework for interested teachers to use LabXChange as a tool for teaching through videos, text, interactive experimental design, and simulations; while allowing for assessment, progress tracking, as well as real-time engagement with students using private discussion forums.

Attendees are strongly recommended to work through this LabXchange introduction video prior to the ABE@UTM PD session.  This video will give you the basic tools to navigate the platform, and will make your PD experience a little less overwhelming.
